The immune system responds to foreign microorganisms and chemical molecules in the body. It provides specific resistance-supporting properties to the body during times of disease and stress. The components of this formula are known to enhance the immune system, treat weak lungs, build general health, and remove wastes from the lungs and blood. It also contains an expectorant, diuretic and diaphoretic, and a special herb known by Native Americans as a magical immunostimulant that has powerful anti-bacterial effects.

Immuno Umph! is most beneficial when taken before traveling, when the seasons are changing, and during times of stress. Immuno Umph! combines the power of Echinacea with Osha, Astragalus, and Elephant Tree, a sacred Native American herb. In times of stress, during seasonal changes, while traveling or during nervous system challenges, the immune system can take a beating. Immunostimulation activates innate immunity and promotes the release of microbial defenses to fight immunodeficiency conditions, chronic infections, or other systemic challenges.

It is believed that Echinacea contains active substances that boost immune function, relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and have hormonal, antiviral, and antioxidant effects. For this reason, professional herbalists may recommend echinacea to treat urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast (candida) infections, ear infections (also known as otitis media), athlete's foot, sinusitis, hay fever (also called allergic) may help inhibit colon tumors when combined with cichoric acid. One study even suggests that echinacea extract exerted an antiviral action on the development of recurrent cold sores triggered by the herpes simplex virus (HSVI) when taken prior to infection.

Osha has been used for centuries in traditional Native American and Hispanic cultures to treat medical conditions such as colds, coughs, sore throat, skin wounds, fever, gastrointestinal problems, and circulation and heart issues. More recent studies have found that it also addresses respiratory issues, as well as being able to prevent infections because it’s thought to have antibacterial and antiviral properties. It should also be noted that this amazing herb is unsafe to consume when you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

For thousands of years Astragalus has been written about in ancient eastern medicinal texts. It is usually mentioned in regard to increased energy and general wellness. More recently, it’s been found to combat the effects of stress on the body, and to support the immune system’s defense mechanisms.

Elephant Tree is an obscure tree found on desert mountaintops. This powerful Immunostimulant has a rich history in Native American lore.

The cold I got that floored the others for days hit me hard, but I didn’t miss a day of work and it lasted only three days, versus weeks for the others who were drastically impacted. I’m sure it was the Immuno Umph!

Immuno Umph! does exactly what it says it will do—give the immune system a boost. It lessens the duration of most viral infections…I give it to all my family members and suggest it to everyone!
